French soccer superstar Kylian Mbappe recently concluded his three-day visit to Cameroon, his father’s home country. Upon his arrival, Mbappe received a warm reception from fans, many of whom were wearing jerseys of his club team, Paris Saint-Germain.

 

 

During his visit, Mbappe visited a school that his foundation is sponsoring for renovation, leaving a lasting impact on the local community. He also had the opportunity to explore his father’s village on Djelabe island, where he was warmly welcomed by the residents.

 

 

Mbappe’s uncle, Nkalla, proudly showed him the family home, which is currently under construction, highlighting the family’s roots and the development of the house over the years.

At the Bonendale school, Mbappe was met with a standing ovation as he signed soccer shirts for excited children, creating unforgettable memories for the young fans.

 

Despite the fact that the match that was supposed to take place between Mbappe and the Cameroonian club FC Vent d’Etoudi was canceled due to security concerns, the visit itself was nevertheless noteworthy.

Wilfried Mbappe, Mbappe’s father, left Cameroon when he was still a little boy in order to pursue a career as a football coach in France (now known as France). At a time when there are persistent concerns regarding Mbappe’s future at Paris Saint-Germain, this trip to Cameroon comes at a time when these concerns are being raised.

Mbappe has stated a wish to continue with Paris Saint-Germain for one more season, despite the fact that he made the announcement last month that he will not be extending his contract with the club, which is set to expire the next year. With that being said, the President of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser al-Khelaifi, has made it very apparent that Mbappe is need to sign a new contract in order to retain his association with the club beyond the upcoming season.

Mbappe has established himself as one of the best players in the world ever since he joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, and his future in football continues to be a subject of intense attention and conjecture. If Paris Saint-Germain wants to avoid losing him for free when his contract expires, they will need to decide whether or not to sell him during the current transfer window.
