During an interview, Musiala disclosed that the reason he chose the number 10 was due to the fact that it was worn by three of his favorite players from FC Barcelona: Neymar, Ronaldinho, and Lionel Messi.
“I grew up during the time of Messi, Neymar, and Ronaldinho,” Musiala disclosed that he personally experienced. Every single one of them is wearing the number 10, which is something that has always been a goal of mine to wear someday.
Even though the German also stated that he used to love Zinedine Zidane, Juventus, and France, the 21-year-old midfielder for Bayern Munich underlined that Messi and Ronaldinho are his favorite players. He said that with absolute certainty, Messi and Ronaldinho are his favorite players. Messi, on the other hand, is someone who he is sincerely inspired by.
Messi is a fan of the young, talented player who plays for Bayern.
He never failed to enthrall me, and I had a tremendous deal of respect for him. When I was a kid, I used to watch Leo and Neymar competing. In addition to providing me with a plethora of information, they are the people I admire the most because they motivate me to play football.
Whenever I am able to learn something, it is through watching Leo score goals or Neymar make plays with the ball. Next, I would attempt to imitate them while I was outside in the garden. According to Musiala, “I’ve always been a fan of theirs as well.”
The German star stated that he is not yet ready to draw comparisons with the Argentine sensation, saying, “It is nearly difficult for me to compare anything to Messi.” Messi is a sensation in Argentina. Comparing oneself to Leo or any other player, in my opinion, is a ridiculous and fruitless endeavor. Each year, I put in a lot of effort to advance my profession, with the goal of helping my team win prizes and achieving greater success.
Musiala learned how to play football from Neymar and Messi
Musiala is the youngest player to debut for Bayern Munich in 2020 and has won 4 Bundesliga championships and 1 Champions League with this club.
However, the German star insists that he has a long way to go to achieve the legacy of winning the Ballon d’Or eight times like Lionel. He feels that his daily progress can pave the way to such a destination.
