The French international Kylian Mbappe has just spent €18 million on a home in Madrid.
This new residence is reportedly only five minutes away from Real Madrid’s training facility, per La Razon.
Curiosity aside, he sealed the deal on Tuesday and signed the paperwork on Thursday.
It appears that Mbappe’s transfer to Real Madrid is almost complete, based on this substantial acquisition.
All parties involved have reportedly completed all necessary documentation and formalities relating to the transfer. But until after the UEFA Champions League final, Real Madrid will not make any public pronouncements.
To win their fifteenth European championship, the club needs its present players to give their whole attention to the task at hand.
In the neighborhood of Sergio Ramos’
Mbappe sees this as a turning point in his career. He plans to relocate to the posh neighborhood of La Moraleja in Madrid as soon as he lands.
Some interesting people will live in close proximity to his new home. Across from Sergio Ramos’s house, where he stays when in Madrid, and next door to Richard Gere’s house is where he will dwell.
A “golden triangle” formed by these famously close-knit mansions has emerged in this once seclusion-and luxury-oriented neighborhood.
Several things contributed to Mbappe’s choice to make La Moraleja his permanent home. He almost settled for La Finca, another posh neighborhood with a stellar reputation for seclusion and security, but he settled for La Moraleja because of how convenient it was.
Mbappe prefers La Moraleja because of the convenience and ease it provides, being only five minutes away from Real Madrid’s training city.
His acquisition of the property became final yesterday afternoon with the official signing of the deed of sale.
This move is in line with Mbappe’s expected transfer to Real Madrid and shows that he is prepared to fit in well with his new team and surroundings.
