Fenerbahce defender Ferdi Kadioglu is said to have agreed personal terms with Arsenal and he could become their first new recruit in the 2024 summer transfer window.

 

Positive progress is being made in the negotiations between Arsenal and Kadioglu’s agent, according to Sport Witness. Mikel Arteta was drawn to the 24-year-old full-back due to his versatility; Arteta is still determined to bolster his defensive options come summertime.

Jurrien Timber’s signing last summer is one example of the kind of versatile player Arteta has consistently stressed is needed. In addition to playing in the center, the Dutchman is a capable defender on either wing.
