Does Alphonso Davies have a Premier League future? The Spanish giants will likely hold off on making any transfer announcements until after Saturday’s Champions League final, in which Real Madrid will participate, has concluded. Most of the attention right now is probably on the La Liga winners as they wait to announce the signing of Kylian Mbappe.

Davies may still make it to the Bernabeu this summer, but if not, Chelsea and Manchester City will be quick to take advantage.Neither of these Premier League clubs has a left defender, therefore the Canadian international would be a great fit for them. Ben Chilwell is the guy Chelsea are banking on for the role, but the England star can’t seem to stay healthy for very long.

Signing Davies would give Pep Guardiola a more natural choice at left back, as he has used Josko Gvardiol as a substitute for the bulk of the 2023–24 season.
