Taking a well-deserved break before leading Portugal at Euro 2024, Cristiano Ronaldo has put his loss in the Kings Cup Final behind him.

Ronaldo was dejected after Al-Nassr’s cup loss against Al-Hilal on Friday, which ended in a penalty shootout.

 

 

 

 

 

Three players were sent off throughout the regular 90 minutes of the King Cup of Champions final, which ended in a 1-1 draw and the loss. But the Portuguese player is using Instagram to show off his vacation photos as he prepares to refuel for this summer’s competition with the national squad.

The forward, who seems much younger than his 39 years, is standing in pale blue shorts against a backdrop of pristine beach water. “Recharging” was Ronaldo’s caption, which he added beside the photo.

A different photo of the Portugal captain and his family—including his five children and girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez—was posted on his Instagram story. With fourteen goals in five appearances at the European Championships, he will enter what is likely to be his last big tournament unbeaten.

On June 18, Portugal will face the Czech Republic in their tournament opener, and Ronaldo will most certainly earn his 207th cap.

They will then face Georgia and Turkey in the finals’ Group F.
