SOMETHING HAPPENED?

In his first season with Leverkusen, the attacking midfielder, who is now 21 years old, was a standout. As a result, rumors consistently circulate that he will be joining Bayern Munich. Although Wirtz stated that he was “very comfortable” with coach Xabi Alonso’s club, he did not confirm that he would be able to continue playing for the team in the upcoming season. Kohler, who won the 1990 World Cup with Germany, believes that Wirtz and teammate Jonathan Tah will both move to Bayern soon.

“Bayern’s greatest strength has always been that they have the best players of the German national team. I think Tah should make this move because as a player, you always aspire to the highest level, even even though he had an excellent season at Leverkusen. Florian Wirtz will be the next name to join Bayern,” he said.
