The most valued team at the Euros this summer is England’s.
The team under by Gareth Southgate lost 1-0 to Iceland at Wembley on Friday night in their final warm-up match before flying to Germany.

But because of their roster’s abundance of great players, they continue to be the favorites to win the Euros.
They are the most valuable nation in the competition thanks to players like Declan Rice, Cole Palmer, Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden, and Bukayo Saka.
The estimated value of Southgate’s team is £1.29 billion.
And if the England manager hadn’t benched players like Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish, that number may have been considerably higher.
Their squad is worth £250 million more than France, the next-to-last nation on the list (£1.04 billion).
The only teams with rosters valued at greater than £1 billion are England and France, which helps to explain why they are the clear favorites to win this summer.
Portugal [£890m] and Spain [£820m] are next in line, followed by the hosts Germany [£722m] to complete the top five.
With players like Rafael Leao, Ruben Dias, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, and Joao Paulinha all valued at more than £50 million, Portugal is fortunate to have a very talented team.
WHAT Gareth Southgate said about his axed England stars after confirming his 26-man England squad for Euro 2024.
Harry Maguire
“Harry [Maguire’s] rehabilitation from the accident and physical state are the only factors considered in the choice. He is one of our strongest center backs, thus there’s no other explanation.
Although it has been difficult, Harry has made some progress; otherwise, we wouldn’t have put him in the group stages. There were just too many obstacles to overcome and it was unclear where we may end up.
Given that the health of the remaining backline members isn’t entirely assured, we need guys who can play right away.
“It was a really difficult call, you know how I feel about Harry, what he’s done for England and for me as a manager.”
Grealish Jack
“I just had an extremely tough talk with a young man who is really upset.
“As a child, I thought the world of him.”It doesn’t get any simpler, for sure.
“You imagine yourself in the position of a parent or an athlete. You are aware that this is a terrible time for these players.
“We were aware that we would be facing a few extremely challenging days.”
Maddison James
“They’ve been difficult decisions, and Madders [Maddison] and Jack [Grealish] would have given us something different as well.
“As a staff, we have discussed these conversations numerous times in an effort to be fair and provide the appropriate justification.
“We support our choices, but we also acknowledge that there was another option. The lads are wonderful team players, charismatic individuals, and a pleasure to work with.
“It’s sad to have to deliver that news to them.”
Jarrad Branthwaite
“Jarrad [Branthwaite] seems a little too young. He’s had an amazing season, and it was great to see him play the other night.
Naturally, though, you would like that balance of left-footers in a perfect world. I don’t think it would have been the proper decision at this point for him to enter before the others.”
“We have Jarell Quansah staying with us. At Wembley, he lacks the experience of an England international. It will be fantastic if he plays as us in the game.
“Hopefully we’re not needing to call anyone else in.”
They also have Cristiano Ronaldo among their ranks, although at 39 years old, the superstar from Saudi Arabia is thought to be worth closer than £12 million.

Two players who are 21 years old are regarded as Germany’s most valuable assets.
Both Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich and Florian Wirtz, who just assisted Bayer Leverkusen in winning the Bundesliga, are valued at more than £100 million.

The rest of the top 10 consists of Belgium [£496m], England’s group opponents Denmark [£367m] and Ukraine [£322m].
England begin their Euros campaign when they take on Serbia on Sunday, June 16.
The Serbs, who have lethal striker Aleksandr Mitrovic leading their line, are considered the 14th most valuable side in the competition.
