Levi Colwill, a defender for Chelsea, is reportedly Vincent Kompany’s top target at Bayern Munich.

Although Jonathan Tah, 28, is eager to join Bayern from rivals Bayer Leverkusen, where he played a significant part in helping Xabi Alonso’s team go undefeated on their way to winning the Bundesliga last season, negotiations have already begun.

Although early noises have been made and Colwill is aware of Bayern’s interest, the Blues have no intention of selling.

The 21-year-old, who had an impressive loan stint at Brighton, is eager to play on a regular basis.

He made 32 appearances for Chelsea last season before injuries curtailed much of the latter part of the campaign.

Bayern are continuing discussions with Fulham over a fee for Joao Palhinha after a £30m bid was rejected last week.

Fulham are in talks with Hoffenheim over a deal for Jacob Bruun Larsen. The Danish winger, 25, was on loan at Burnley last season.
