England captain Harry Kane was given a special commemorative package by Prince William before leaving for Germany to attend Euro 2024. What’s inside?

In preparation for his departure to Germany for the 2024 European Championship, Prince William has given England captain Harry Kane a unique commemorative box. Kane will be traveling to Germany for the tournament later today.

After Gareth Southgate gave the England players the weekend off, the Prince of Wales came at St. George’s Park on Monday morning to greet them as they returned to their training base. Gareth Southgate had offered the players vacation time over the weekend.

After providing some last-minute advise to the players, which included a tongue-in-cheek statement from his son, Prince Louis, that the players should “eat twice the amount you normally would” in order to emerge triumphant from the European Championships, Prince William distributed presents to each of the 26-man squad.

Captain Kane walked forward to get his bundle, which included his shirt as well as the other stars who had previously worn the number nine at some point in their careers.

Additionally, in recognition of the 30-year-old’s record of 63 goals scored for his country, he was presented with a big souvenir that bore the inscription “all time goalscorer.” This was done with photographs of Kane when he was a young player playing for his first youth club, Ridgeway Rovers, at Ridgeway Park.

It also contained a large souvenier which showed Kane playing for his youth team that gave a nod to him being his country's leading all-time goalscorer

In addition to that, it had a giant souvenir that featured Kane playing for his youth squad. This was a tribute to the fact that he is the all-time leading goalscorer for his country.

In his first appearance at the European Championships in 2016, Kane did not score a goal. However, he was successful in scoring four times during England’s journey to the final three years ago, which they ultimately lost to Italy on penalties.

Kane posed for a picture with Prince William after he had finished picking up his parcel with him.

Furthermore, William paid a visit to the England players in the days leading up to their final major competition, which was the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

During that particular event, each of the twenty-six members of the squad, including the superstar of the midfield, Jude Bellingham, were given packages that contained information about the players who had previously worn their shirt number, as well as a motivational last message from Southgate.

It was not enough to help them advance all the way in the Middle East, as they were eliminated in the quarterfinals by France. Harry Kane missed a late penalty kick, which resulted in the game going into extra time.

As the Three Lions attempt to put an end to their wait for tournament triumph, which dates back to 1966, the captain of England will be hoping for better luck this time around.

In the course of his time spent at England’s training base, William was observed engaging in conversation with Kane and Ollie Watkins, who is also a striker. He appeared to be in a positive mood.

As Prince William wandered through St. George’s Park on a cloudy morning in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, Jill Scott, who had previously won the Euros with the Lionesses two years prior, was also present.

Soon, Kane and the other members of his squad will board a plane to travel to their training facility in Germany, which is the five-star Weimarer Land Spa and Golf Resort. They intend to stay there for the next month.

The match against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen on Sunday will mark the beginning of their campaign in the European Championship.
