After commemorating the Nike Air Max Plus’s 25th anniversary in 2023, Nike is still celebrating this model.

The legendary Nike Air Max Plus “Voltage Purple” hue, which was released in 2018 for the 20th anniversary, served as the inspiration for the brand-new Nike Mercurial Superfly 9 cleat that Paris Saint-Germain and French sensation Kylian Mbappé was photographed sporting earlier today while working out.

The cleat shared its muse’s gradient purple upper with flashy orange highlights and its recognizable black, spider-web-like TPU cage. The original “TN” heel stamp is referenced in the cleat’s “ZM” marking on the heel.

On January 15, 2024, the Nike Mercurial Superfly 9 FG “Voltage Purple” is expected to go on sale abroad for $310 through a few select stores. Soon, a domestic release is anticipated.
