Cole Palmer sends two-word response to what Chelsea teammate Romeo Lavia has just posted on Instagram

After joining a new team, that was not the kind of start you want. He is trying to make the most of his second chance, so this summer is going to be huge for him. This morning, he uploaded video of himself working out hard with the ball to get ready for the preseason.

Among the players that replied in the comments were Malo Gusto, Diego Moreira, and Kyle Walker Peters. Cole Palmer, Lavia’s former Man City teammate, was also noteworthy for responding with “my boy.”

We can’t wait to see them together on the field, but we don’t want to make the same mistake we did the previous year!

Leicester is аbоut tо nаme а fоrmer Chelseа mаnаger tо succeed Enzо Mаrescа

Since the Blues stole Enzo Maresca a few weeks ago to take Mauricio Pochettino’s place, the Foxes have been searching for a new manager.

Maresca only moved to the King Power last summer after defeating Leicester with a stunning 97 points to win the Championship.

The Premier League champions of 2015–16 have reportedly held negotiations with several prospective managers, but according to a number of outlets, including The Sun, they have chosen Potter. The 49-year-old’s talks have gone well, and they anticipate appointing him shortly.

Along with Carlos Corberan of West Brom and Steve Cooper of Nottingham Forest, Leicester also spoke with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the former manager of Manchester United.

After a catastrophic seven months at Stamford Bridge, Potter was fired by Chelsea, and he hasn’t had a job for more than a year.

After an extremely successful stint with Brighton, he moved to the west London club, but he was unable to repeat his magic there. He won just 12 of his 31 games with Chelsea, who finished the 2022–2023 season in 12th place.

Potter is still well regarded, even though many have conceded that owner Todd Boehly and his bizarre transfer policy are at least somewhat to blame for Chelsea’s problems, given Pochettino’s difficulties from the previous season. He was strongly associated with Manchester United, but they decided to remain with Erik ten Hag. He is among the favorites to take over as manager of England in the event that Gareth Southgate steps down.

The former Ostersund and Swansea player was also extremely near to joining Ajax, but he finally declined the Dutch powerhouse. Now, however, he is prepared to take back the dugout.

Leicester are struggling financially and may not start the season well, so it won’t be an easy assignment at the King Power.

The 2024–2025 Premier League schedule was revealed on Tuesday. Leicester will visit Tottenham on the first weekend, and if Potter accepts the position, his first opponent will be Chelsea on November 23.
