The 29-year-old England defender posted the first photo from their wedding on his Instagram feed on Saturday afternoon. The couple was married at a lavish 100-acre French château built in the thirteenth century that costs £350 per night.

In front of guests like fellow England star Jordan Pickford and his wife Megan, Harry and Fern, 27, who looked lovely in a flowing princess-style gown and veil, shared a tender kiss at the altar after being pronounced man and wife.

 

The post was titled “25.06.22” by him. A day I will always remember.

Goalie Aaron Ramsdale of Arsenal and England also commented, saying, “Love it!” “Congrats to you both,” wrote Chalobah of Fulham, alongside the message “Congrats H.”

The Chelsea player Danny Drinkwater added, “Big guy, congrats.”

On Friday morning, Harry was seen jogging around the grounds of his wedding venue, a French Château located amidst South Burgundy’s finest vineyards and acres of countryside.

Staff members were seen loading fresh blooms into the back of a van before driving them into the Château in preparation for the bride’s arrival.

The vibrant boutiques could give a hint as to what Fern’s bridesmaids are wearing for the big event, which is taking place on Saturday afternoon.

Security at the Château was tight, with every gated entrance patrolled by guards.

In anticipation of the bride’s arrival, staff personnel were observed packing fresh flowers into the back of a vehicle and then driving them inside the Château.

The 29-year-olds Harry and Fern exchanged vows at Crewe Registry Office in May, but they wanted to throw a lavish celebration at the French Chateau de Varennes, set amid some of the nation’s best vineyards. They treated their friends and family to spa treatments worth thousands of pounds and bottles of champagne that could cost as much as £200.

A bystander remarked, “The wedding venue is gorgeous.” It’s a beautiful building set in a beautiful rural setting.

“The weather is the only drawback; thunderstorms are predicted for this weekend and it’s pouring right now.”

Ahead of the three-day celebration, Harry was seen jogging around the opulent estate on Friday morning with two friends.

Harry was seen on Thursday arriving at the opulent Château of the 13th century and lounging in the French sun with his top off.

Saturday’s lavish celebration of Harry and Fern’s union will be attended by his England colleague Jordan Pickford and his wife Megan Davison.

The pair, who have been together for 11 years, is throwing a spectacular £500,000 wedding reception for their friends and family.

During a romantic vacation to Paris in February 2018, Harry proposed to Fern. The couple decided to postpone their wedding until after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Harry arrived at nearby Dijon airport around 1.30pm local time on Thursday.

The group travelled around an hour to the chateau – where screens have been put in place around the grounds – before enjoying a family get together later that evening.

Bride-to-be Fern meanwhile enjoyed a meal locally on Thursday evening alongside Harry’s sister Daisy and Jordan Pickford’s wife, Megan.

Daisy previously thanked Fern for ‘trusting her’ to organise her Marbella hen do, which was attended by 20 of her girlfriends in May.

Fern beamed with happiness as she sat amongst her nearest and dearest while celebrating her impending nuptials with an Aperol Spritz.

A source told The Mirror: ‘They are both very excited to be having their big day here – and all their loved ones with them for the wedding. It is the most romantic setting imaginable.’

Harry was spotted jogging around the luxurious property on Friday morning with two pals ahead of the bash, which is expected to last three days.

The footballer wore a grey T-shirt and black shorts as he exercised in the French countryside.

A source added: ‘Harry looked relaxed ahead of his big day. He certainly didn’t look as though he has any pre-wedding jitters.’

The couple sent out invitations in pink and white boxes with ‘a fancy bow’ on top. The bridesmaids’ dresses will be in ivory, rose, pink, and purple and Daisy is the maid of honour.
