The hunt for Benfica midfielder Joao Neves is expected to intensify this summer, with reports indicating that Liverpool will face interest from Manchester United, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich at the same time.
After a breakout season in which he participated in 55 games across all competitions, the 19-year-old midfielder has been linked with a big-money move away from the Estadio da Luz. This move would be substantial in terms of financial compensation.
Neves had been connected with a move to United in January, shortly after Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s minority interest was disclosed. However, Benfica refuted rumors that the Portugal international was engaged in discussions over a move to Old Trafford. Neves is now playing for Benfica.
