Through a quote from Getfootballnewsspain, Bryan Zaragoza admitted that before coming to Bayern Munich, he had negotiated with Barcelona.
Bryan Zaragoza , 22, was a promising attacking midfielder for Granada and moved to the Allianz Arena in the January transfer window, but things didn’t go as planned for all parties.
Zaragoza has made one appearance for the Spanish national team.
The 22-year-old has only played 7 Bundesliga games so far, with a total playing time of less than 180 minutes. According to coach Thomas Tuchel, the language barrier is one of the reasons why Zaragoza can no longer maintain the same top performances as he did in Granada.
There have been rumours that Zaragoza could be on the move this summer , with Barcelona among a number of La Liga clubs closely monitoring his situation.
It should be remembered that, before coming to Bayern , Zaragoza also negotiated with Barca, but did not reach the desired result.
Speaking in an interview with Jijantes reporter Gerard Romero on Wednesday, Zaragoza admitted: “Before signing for Bayern, I spoke to Barcelona. It was just a possibility and nothing came of it .”
