Cucu Agent! The Spanish superstar has come clean about his attempts to persuade Nico Williams to join Chelsea

Over the past few weeks, Lamine Yamal has expressed his desire for Nico Williams to join Barcelona this summer on more than one occasion. A number of Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, have expressed interest in signing the 21-year-old, although he has also been strongly linked with a move to Catalonia.

I'm urging Nico Williams to sign for Chelsea"

Marc Cucurella is outmatched against Lamine Yamal and Pedri, who represent Barcelona, in their efforts to influence Williams. The Chelsea defender told Sport that this hasn’t deterred him from trying to persuade the Athletic Club winger.

Vince™ on X: "🗣️ Marc Cucurella: "I've been telling Nico Williams to sign for Chelsea! In the end, everything depends on him. He is very young, with a lot of experience. I

If he wants to sign with Barcelona, he may be a fantastic addition, but his desires dictate the details. I’ve been urging him to join Chelsea for a while now… Ultimately, his young age and plenty of expertise will determine everything. His potential as a player is enormous.

Lamine Yamal is another Spanish colleague that Cucurella gushed about. The two have trained together multiple times in the past few weeks.

It’s incredible considering his age, his movement, and the choices he makes… His greatest strength is his complete lack of predictability; no two plays with him are ever the same. No defense, including mine, can hope to thwart him.

As Chelsea considers a deal, Italy Euro 2024 player Riccardo Calafiori decides to leave Arsenal

Despite Italy’s disappointing loss from the tournament in the round of 16 at the hands of Switzerland, Calafiori made a strong impression at Euro 2024.

In recognition of his outstanding season with Bologna, where he made 33 appearances and contributed to the team’s qualification for the Champions League, Luciano Spalletti included the 22-year-old in his European squad.

ɾumоɾ Һаs ιt tҺаt аɾsе𝚗аl Һаᴠе аρρɾоаcҺеԀ Bоlоg𝚗а, а Sеɾιе а club, wιtҺ а £40 mιllιо𝚗 bιԀ tо sιg𝚗 Cаlаfιоɾι tҺιs summеɾ.In addition, according to Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League runners-up have reached out to Calafiori in an effort to entice the defender to north London with a long-term proposition.

There have been rumors that Calafiori is ‘open’ to joining Arsenal, who were second in the Premier League last season (behind Manchester City) but could still receive an approach from Chelsea.

The Blues may make a player-plus-cash bid to Bologna in their pursuit of a new central defender, after Thiago Silva has left Stamford Bridge. However, it seems like Arsenal are in the driver’s seat when it comes to the transfer market. Mikel Arteta has approved the Calafiori chase and is eager to bring the defender to the Emirates Stadium.

In an earlier statement, Bologna technical director Giovanni Sartori stated that the club plans to retain Calafiori, but he did concede that their position could shift in response to a “significant offer.”

The desire to retain him is strong, according to Sartori, but they will wait to see what happens in the market since they acquired him a year ago.We will do our best to hold on to him, but we will have to evaluate serious offers if they come in. In my opinion, he will likely go to a different market than Juventus.

Even though the summer transfer window has started off slowly, Arsenal still hasn’t brought any new players to the Emirates.

The Gunners are still interested in acquiring a new striker following their disappointment in Benjamin Sesko, but David Raya’s loan from Brentford will shortly be converted into a permanent trade.

Chelsea have signed four players this summer, including Leicester City’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and they are still in the running to sign Calafiori.
