On Sunday, following Germany’s heartbreaking quarterfinal loss to Spain at the European Championship, legendary player Toni Kroos formally announced his retirement from soccer.

He continued by expressing his gratitude to his family, friends, teammates, clubs, and fans, and by saying, “nothing better (than) to see your kids being proud of daddy.”
Six Champions Leagues, four Spanish leagues, three Bundesligas, three German Cups, and one Copa del Rey were among Kroos’s many accomplishments, which he primarily achieved with Real Madrid but also with Bayern Munich.Kroos, who will be 34 years old by the end of Euro 2024, announced his retirement in May.
