According to Adrien Rabiot, ‘everyone is startled’ by Antoine Griezmann’s troubles and France teammate Kylian Mbappe is having a ‘tough’ time at Euro 2024

Adrien Rabiot, a midfielder for France, has spoken about Kylian Mbappe’s “rough” experience at Euro 2024.

Mbappe, widely regarded as one of the best players in the world, has scored just once in four tournament appearances (a penalty against Poland) despite his stellar reputation.

Unfortunately for Mbappe, he cracked his nose in France’s first group game against Austria and has been wearing a mask ever since. This hasn’t helped his cause.

Another star on the French squad, Antoine Griezmann, has failed to impress in Germany despite playing for France for many years.

The 33-year-old may not start Tuesday’s semi-final match against Spain, according to several reports.

According to Rabiot, the rest of France’s squad will back Mbappe and Griezmann 100%.

As said by Rabiot: “This is a team game and even if they are having some troubles, we have reached the semi-final,” according to The Mirror. Being a part of a winning team is more significant than any one player’s performance.

Even though Kylian and Antoine’s legs aren’t exactly ripe, they have our full support. We trust them without question. Any moment now, those players can alter the course of a game. Feel free to reach out to us whenever captain Mbappé or Antoine are going through a tough time. We’re always here to help.

The team’s performance has suffered because of Mbappe and Griezmann, as Rabiot acknowledged.

In his five games at Euro 2024, Antoine Griezmann has failed to find the back of the net.

But Rabiot pointed out that Kylian and Antoine have not been performing up to par, so it would be easier if they were. I don’t think anyone is surprised by Griezmann’s performance; we all know his abilities.

We witnessed his best performance at the most recent World Cup. Perhaps his physical health is suffering because of this spell, which I cannot describe. We know Antoine is capable of a lot more, so it’s no surprise that we have high expectations for him. Is a great Antoine necessary for us to win, though? Our team is top-notch.

In the quarterfinals, France prevailed over Portugal on penalties, but they are well aware that they would likely need to perform at a high level to defeat a skilled Spanish squad.

After sitting out the match against Portugal due to suspension, Rabiot will be looking to get back into France’s starting lineup against Spain.
