Despite being just 18 years old, Yoro has become an integral part of Lille’s offense since making his debut in 2022. He has entered the last year of his current contract and has shown little interest in signing a new one, so the French club is likely to move him this summer.

Madrid, who were hoping to get Yoro for a bargain, has not made a counteroffer; according to FootMercato, the Bernabeu’s highest offer is €20 million (£17 million).Fabrizio Romano reports that Lille is reportedly trying to persuade Yoro to reconsider his move to Manchester and instead examine the best option for them. No trade will proceed without the player’s approval, though, so it appears he is waiting for Madrid to respond.
