Lunin made a statement via MARCA this week in response to hurtful remarks made on social media about him and his spouse.

Saying, ‘We didn’t feel comfortable in the suit setting, with everyone looking, chatting in front of a lot of people,’ Lunin gave his explanation for not dressing up for his wedding.Lunin went on, “My wife and I decided on it, and even though it was easier and very comfortable, it was a special day.”

The 25-yeаr-оld, whо plаyed in 31 gаmes fоr Reаl Mаdrid the previоus seаsоn befоre mаking оne аppeаrаnce fоr Ukrаine аt Eurо 2024, went оn tо sаy thаt he аnd аnаstаsiа wоuld like tо cоmmemоrаte their mаrriаge with аnоther ceremоny in the future.

He does not, however, intend to dress in a shirt for that either.

Lunin explained: ‘It’s true that one day we want to hold a ceremony on a beach, with the family, without suits, but she in a summer dress, I in a white shirt.

“We’re going to do something better in the future.”
