Kylian Mbappe becomes BOSS, buys French teammate N’Golo Kante’s old club after moving to Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe wants to buy back the former club of his French team-mate N’Golo Kante after moving to Real Madrid.

The Frenchman has just completed a move to Real Madrid, where he is estimated to earn £12.8 million per year in wages after tax.

But recently, reports said that Kylian Mbappe may take on the role of owner of a football club.

According to RMC Sport, the French team captain is eyeing a deal to buy the Stade Malherbe Caen club in France. Club co-owner Pierre-Antoine Capton has revealed the club is looking for a new owner.

The Sun adds that ownership of the club could come in the form of Mbappe’s family company KM7.

SM Caen has been playing in Ligue 2 since their relegation from the top flight in 2019.

There is very notable information that in the past, the owner of SM Caen tried very hard to recruit Kylian Mbappe since he was 11 years old but was unsuccessful.

Although they did not have Mbappe at that time, SM Caen still had many international stars who played for them in the past. The brightest star is former Chelsea and Leicester midfielder N’Golo Kante, who worked alongside Mbappe at Euro 2024 before Les Blues was eliminated by Spain in the semi-finals.

Besides, Thomas Lemar and Raphael Guerreiro are other prominent stars who played for SM Caen club.
