A $20 million Jacob & Co. watch is on display for Ronaldo at an event in Saudi Arabia

Cristiano Ronaldo, who is associated with Jacob & Co., was in Saudi Arabia for the launch of the brand’s largest store to date. There he proudly displayed his most recent wrist accessory.

The Portuguese soccer player posted an Instagram photo of the emerald-colored present he received during last week’s business opening party in Riyadh. He also posted a selfie with Jacob Arabo, owner of a luxury goods company with a presence all over the world.

One of four new timepieces featuring Ronaldo—the “Heart of the CR7 Baguette” being the most recent—has been unveiled. It has a diamond bezel, a colorful crown, and a photo of Ronaldo hidden behind one of the two pillars; it costs $117,000.

The watch also has a sapphire crystal caseback featuring an image of Ronaldo wearing his lucky number 7 shirt and a skeleton barrel cover designed to resemble a soccer ball. This time it was a Jacob & Co. timepiece with hundreds of sparkling green stones, so it’s safe to assume that Ronaldo is already familiar with the name.

The new 220 square meter (2,400 square foot) Jacob & Co. store spans this area on Olaya Street, a significant thoroughfare in Riyadh.

Mumbai, Macao, Hong Kong, and Saudi Arabia are among the cities that will welcome at least ten new outlets this year.

The newly formed Saudi Pro League reportedly has Ronaldo as a member, and they are vying for the signature of another famous footballer. Ronaldo is being courted by all three leagues. The record-breaking compensation for a football player would be $400 million if Lionel Messi were to sign with the league. In contrast, rumor has it that Ronaldo earns around $200 million every year.

Robb Report covered Jacob & Co.’s latest jaw-dropping offering in March: a yellow diamond watch made for billionaires that retailed for $20 million. If the lavish contract is confirmed, Messi might be the one to sign it first.
