Ratcliffe ‘bent’ on defender deal to Manchester United, as Chelsea star ‘driven’ out ‘against will’

United are ‘really’ interested in Manchester City center back Trevoh Chalobah, and Sir Jim Ratcliffe is ‘keen’ on adding to his center back roster this summer.

During the summer transfer window, Manchester United spent almost £90 million to acquire Leny Yoro from Lille and Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna.

Many people, both in and out of the Premier League, think highly of Chalobah. Nevertheless, he is reportedly adamant about taking his time and considering all of his options before committing to a long-term transfer.

Reportedly priced between £25 million and £30 million, he has already attracted interest from Crystal Palace, Fulham, and West Ham.

Nevertheless, according to GiveMeSport, Chalobah is allegedly also being pursued by Manchester United as their new-look recruitment squad, led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, searches for a new central defender.
