Harry Kane and co. are thrilled to get a top-notch training location thanks to Germany’s interest in the Weimarer Land Golf Hotel and Spa in central Germany. A training camp was held there last month.

 

The FA took the best base of any team after they were forced to depart by Adidas, their kit sponsors.

 

 

Yesterday, Blankenhain workers prepared to welcome Gareth Southgate’s boys, with the hotel’s boss predicting a tournament win.

 

Owner Matthias Grafe told The Sun: “The German team wаnted to be based at my hotel but they have been obliged to work with their sponsors so we’re delighted to welcome England instead.“I’ve always maintained I only want one team here—the Euros winner, which I think will be England.”

The media centre and training pitch now have a “England” banner instead of German signage.The hotel bar’s red, black, and gold German flag and “Deutschland” symbols were also removed.

 

The luxurious gardens have a flower bed in the flags of England and Germany.

 

Germany moved its headquarters to Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Adidas’ hometown.
