Villarreal are reportedly want £21 million, according to Mail Sport. After Mauricio Pochettino left Stamford Bridge, manager Enzo Maresca wasted no time adding depth to his goalkeeping options, with rumors circulating that Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen was interested in joining the club.

Robert Sanchez came from Brighton last summer, while Djordje Petrovic came from New England Revolution.

Sanchez was the starting quarterback for the team early in the season until suffering a knee injury in December’s match against Everton that kept him out for the rest of the season.

Petrovic started for the Blues in their February EFL Cup final loss to Liverpool and went on to make 31 appearances overall while filling in for him. He did a good job in his absence.

Additionally, Chelsea is still the club that has signed the most expensive goalie in the history of the sport.

A number of clubs have expressed interest in signing Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer after he spent last season on loan with Real Madrid; it is seeming less and less likely that he will stay in west London.

The Spain international has been practicing separately from the first squad since reporting for preseason at Cobham. His contract only has one year left on it.

Interestingly, Kepa is also on Al-Ittihad’s radar; the Saudi club is looking to replace Ederson, a goalkeeper for Manchester City, with one of their own. The club may decide not to pursue the Brazilian due to his high transfer fee.

The most recent turn of events in Chelsea’s transfer market follows widespread rumors that Romelu Lukaku, Gonzalo Higuain, Trevoh Chalobah, Cesare Casadei, David Datro Fofana, and Malang Sarr may be leaving the club permanently after being left out of the pre-season tour. The club has announced a 28-man roster for its upcoming US tour, which begins on Wednesday in California with a match against Wrexham.

The tour will end on August 7 in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a match against Real Madrid, after which Enzo Maresca’s squad will play Celtic, Club America, and Premier League rivals Manchester City.

Though Chalobah was a free agent after joining the club’s academy and Sarr was a free agency after his contract with Nice expired, the six players arrived at Chelsea for a total of £190 million.
