MU says goodbye to young star Joe Hugill

Recently, the MU homepage confirmed that young striker Joe Hugill has officially joined Wigan Club on loan for the 2024/25 season. Hugill became the 11th player to leave the “Red Devils” this summer, but this is the first loan deal, and he still has a contract with MU.

Previously, 10 players left Old Trafford when their contracts expired or on a permanent basis, including: Anthony Martial, Raphael Varane, Mason Greenwood, Donny van de Beek, Willy Kambwala, Sofyan Amrabat, Omari Forson, Alvaro Fernandez, Brandon Williams and Shola Shoretire.

 

 

Arsenal and PSG in talks over Fabian Ruiz

Duncan Castles of The Times says PSG are open to selling midfielder Fabian Ruiz and Arsenal have made an enquiry. Ruiz shone for Spain at Euro 2024 but has been mediocre in Paris, showing a contrast to what he can do at Napoli.

 

 

Jarrad Branthwaite puts pressure on Everton

Centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite is currently still an Everton player after the club rejected a bid from MU for him, but according to Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail, the young player will not renew his contract with “The Toffees”. West Ham reach agreement to sign Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich

BBC’s Simon Stone reports that West Ham have been given the green light by Bayern Munich to pay €16m for Moroccan full-back Noussair Mazraoui. The 26-year-old cannot command a higher price for Bayern to make a profit due to his lengthy injury list. Mazraoui is understood to be set to earn Bayern an additional €3.5m in add-ons if he meets West Ham’s playing conditions.

 

 

Désiré Doué only wants to return to Bayern Munich

German media say 19-year-old star Désiré Doué has made it clear to suitors that the French Olympic player’s plan is to join Bayern Munich and not give up his chance at another club. Désiré Doué has attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United but he wants to secure a place at Bayern, even if he doesn’t have the same easy starting position as teammate Michael Olise.

 

 

Crystal Palace reach agreement for Ismaila Sarr

David Ornstein of The Athletic reports that Crystal Palace have agreed a €15m deal with Marseille for striker Ismaila Sarr. The 26-year-old Senegal international has already agreed personal terms with Palace.

 

Hannibal Mejbri in talks to join Rangers

Hannibal Mejbri is in talks with Scottish club Rangers to join them on loan. The Iraqi has yet to make the progress needed to earn a place in the United first team under Erik Ten Hag, so he has been encouraged to spend the 2024/25 season on loan to improve himself.
